Annual General Meeting

We invite all members in good standing to our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Sherwood Community Centre - Room 4.

This is your chance to hear about the successes and learnings from the year and have your voice heard for the growth of lacrosse in Milton.

All by-law amendment requests should be sent to mmla.president@milton-mavericks.ca ahead of the meeting.

At our AGM, members will also have the opportunity to help shape the future of Milton Minor Lacrosse by nominating themselves or others for open executive and director positions. Any member in good standing, 18 years of age or older, is eligible to stand for election.

Nominations may be submitted in advance to the president by email: mmla.president@milton-mavericks.ca.

Nominations from the floor will also be accepted during the AGM (with the nominee's consent).

Elections will follow, with positions filled either by acclamation or by member vote.

Mission Statement

Provide a learning and mentoring program in which children will benefit from a team environment, fair play, leadership skills, physical fitness and most of all, fun.

Objectives

Promote, develop, and foster the game of lacrosse in all forms to all participants.

Promote amateur sport for participants between ages 3-21.

Develop positive attitude of sportsmanship and respect for competitors, referees, and spectators.
